Israel’s killings in Jenin, including relatives of our director Khaled Al Saadi
Justice For All strongly condemns the recent Israeli military assault on the city of Jenin, which resulted in the tragic deaths of five individuals, including 14-year-old Ahmad al-Sadi, a member of the Al Saadi family. Ahmad’s life was taken in a drone strike that also critically wounded two others. This brutal attack is part of the ongoing Israeli military campaign in the occupied West Bank, which has claimed the lives of at least 20 Palestinians in recent days.
The strikes on Jenin and its surrounding areas targeted civilians, including those on the streets and on motorcycles. Just minutes after Ahmad’s death, two other youth were killed in Qabatiya, and two more lost their lives in another strike on Jenin. This escalation, launched as part of Israel’s “Iron Wall” campaign, is an alarming continuation of collective punishment and indiscriminate violence against innocent civilians.
We are particularly devastated to learn that members of the Al Saadi family, including Ahmad, were among the victims. Our thoughts and prayers are with Justice For All’s Director Khaled Al Saadi and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
We condemn the Israeli military’s ongoing campaign of collective punishment, which has included the destruction of civilian homes in the Jenin refugee camp. Just yesterday, 25 homes were destroyed in a single strike, further displacing families and intensifying the humanitarian crisis. This violence is unjustifiable and a violation of international law, including the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
We call on the international community to hold Israel accountable for its actions and to take immediate steps to protect the lives of Palestinian civilians. We also urge an end to the indiscriminate violence and collective punishment that continues to terrorize the people of Jenin and other parts of Palestine.
Justice For All stands in solidarity with the Al Saadi family and all those affected by this brutal violence. We will continue to advocate for justice and work towards a world where all individuals, regardless of their background or location, are able to live in peace and security.
In this time of loss and grief, we offer our deepest condolences to our dear director Khaled Al Saadi and the entire Al Saadi family. May Allah (SWT) grant them patience and strength, and may the souls of the departed rest in peace.
Alhamdullilah, to Allah we belong and to Him is our return.
